i wanna be like a tree

thank God for all that happened.

Ma and Pa left early this morning. Actually I thought I would keep crying and crying non stop? My emotions were just getting a hold of me and when Ma prayed for me (while Pa was at the toilet hahahah), I just rested in her embrace and her prayer to God, thanking God for His providence, His protection, His plans and His presence. 凡是都交投给神.

But here are the blessings that were so evident that God was with us.

Our flights, initially separated by 2 hours at the airport, had the times changed such that I arrived 1 hour later and they arrived 1/2 hour earlier. So I only waited for them for 1/2 hour before they arrived at the airport. How can we plan for such an coincidence?

Their trip to the airport to fly back home, the most amazing. Initially they planned to take public transport to the airport, which is about 1.5 hours away and cost about 18 AUD per person. But yesterday evening, 3 of us were strolling around the school and we saw an advertisement for car airport transfer, and it was 35 AUD in total when we called the person. This morning, we went downstairs and lo and behold the person and here friend were Singaporean, and how nice she was, she offered to let me up on her car to send them off and fetch me back again, so it was a better goodbye that I could imagine! Furthermore to and fro they kept advising me and giving me tips and discussing stuff like politics, MRTS, places etc that were so so familiar and so close to home. We also exchanged contacts and they offered to bring me around to explore. Not that I was expecting anything, but nobody offered so unconditionally and willingly to bring us around when we arrived. It was such a gesture that made me warmmmm in my heart, like at last, someone offering with no conditions whatsover, when I’m still so pretty lost. Ma tells me I have to be smarter haha. So amazingly, these 2 people I met also reemphasized the points that Ma had for me, and even gave me more tips. Thank God so much for meeting them. I really feel so much better after the trip to and fro. Dunno how to explain.

So many more things to say and type down but I need to go down for orientation now. Dear God please grant them a safe and comfortable trip back home. Thank You for everything. Amen.
